Safety(Average Shift Length: 4 Hours) - Members of the Safety team roam the con, manage lines, and provide a visible and approachable staff presence for our attendees. They answer questions and serve as an easily accessible contact point for attendees.
Merch (Average Shift Length: 4 Hours) - Sell our merch and keep track of inventory! Handle VIP pickups and operate as our badge ribbon hub! Your mission is to keep the merch flowing smoothly and attendees smiling!
Panel Tech (Average Shift Length: 4-6 Hours) - With your trusty troubleshooting magic and a keen eye for detail, you assist our panelists and keep the glitches at bay.
Photography(Average Shift Length: 6 Hours) - Capture stills, candids, and short reels of attendees at Akeome Con events! Upload images to Kululu in downtime of shifts to enhance our live updating photo album.
ConOps (Average Shift Length: 6 Hours) - Ops will function as the Safety Team communications hub, providing information to con goers and staff alike. Assigning and delegating Safety Tasks to those on shift. PREVIOUS AKEOME CON STAFF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
WareHall Head- Oversee setup and teardown. Close and Open the WareHall. Collect offered feedback from attendees and vendors/artists. PREVIOUS AKEOME CON STAFF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Social Gathering Head- Ensuring every Social Gathering has what they need, and operate as their bridge to ConOps. Making sure everyone celebrates safely! PREVIOUS AKEOME CON STAFF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Discord Moderator- Volunteer position only. Badge ribbon perk and complimentary drink voucher only. Flexible/remote (self-scheduled check-ins; heightened presence the week of the con.)
