Cosplay Guest

The Burnt Courthouse is a dynamic, multi-award-winning, queer cosplay duo; breaking down barriers and preconceived notions about what a married cosplay pair "should" look like. Made up of Dat Ashe Cosplay (He/Him) and Court's Cosplay (They/Them), the duo share their passion for cosplay, ballroom dancing, and stage performance both online and in-person at conventions and events across the US and internationally! The pair are very open about their respective experiences with their disabilities, gender identities, and, when in adult spaces, their years of experiences and advocacy within sex work and kink; Dat Ashe was recently sashed as Mr. Texas Leather 2025 in connection with this work. Both very excited and honoured to be appearing at Akeome Con 2025!

Hailing from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, this troupe of misfits has been subjecting their signature IQ-melting panels to the tri-state area since 2017.
Witness wacky improv, ridiculous performances, and their signature guitar breaks! There’s only one thing more obscene than their panels, and it’s the prizes! Air Bud on VHS? 100 copies of Madden on the PS2? You won’t want to miss out! They guarantee you’ll never be the same after joining the rebellion. All of those pesky wrinkles on your brain will be carefully smoothed out, one at a time!

Now we introduce to you at Akeome Con the latest generation in Beyblade, known as Beyblade X! The Beyblade community continues to grow after being out for over a year now, with tournaments happening all across the globe. Enjoy trying out the latest generation at our Free Play area, then test your skills with our tournament, playing for the 1st place grand prize! Let it rip congoers!

(Players will be provided tops and launchers at the event. Congoers are allowed to use their own Beyblade X products if they choose to do so, but must be verified as eligible by the Beyblade X volunteer staff)

All weekend long, games of the drinking variety.
You will be assigned at random to Team Green or Team Orange. From there, you may choose to participate or not, a little, or a lot. Everything can be played sober. Everything is BYOB.

The Games
Wizard Staff
Build your Wizard Staff all weekend long.
Rules: Drink a beverage out of a can. Drink second beverage out of a can. Stack them one on top of the other, duck tape the bottom can to the top can. Repeat until you have a giant wizard staff. Suggestion, make one staff on Friday, one Saturday. Double wield them into battle Sunday morning.

Beer Pong
Grab a partner on your team and plan to destroy a team on the opposite side.
Make sure both teams agree on house rules. Water will be in the cups.

Flip Cup
Teams of five will race. Put whatever you want in a red solo cup. Drink it, set the cup down, and flip it upright before the next person on your team can go.

Boom Cup
Boom Cup is like beer pong/flip cup mixed. Anyone can play. Loser drinks the punishment cup or passes it on to someone else, and loses 5 points for their team. We will teach you how to play.
